Ronnie Dunn is letting fans hear 30 second clip previews of every song on his upcoming album titled Ronnie Dunn, that hits stores June 7th! Each album that you see in your favorite music retail store will have a sticker with a "QR Code" that fans can scan through applications on their smart phones. "QR Codes" are these funky looking things that you're starting to see everywhere.
- First, download a Scanning Application to your cell phone (you must have a "Smart Phone" meaning iPhone, Android, Blackberry, etc.) A few popular Scanning Apps include: NeoReader (iPhone), BarCode Scanner (Android), UpCode (BlackBerry), OptiScan (iPhone), QR App (iPhone), and QuickMark Spot (iPhone).
- Next, go to your nearest music retailer & find the Ronnie Dunn album. Look for a "QR" sticker image that looks like this:
- Then, open your newly downloaded scanning app, point your phone's camera at the QR code and click the scan option. In a few seconds, the application will open up the song previews directly on your phone! Check it out at your nearest music retailer.
